Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page!

After 32 years working on avoiding geohazards, I shall be walking up Kilimanjaro, a pretty large geohazard, in June 2014 to raise funds for RedR - a charity that does great work in aiding natural disaster recovery. RedR, and this challenge, therefore could hardly be a better match to my background!

I shall be part of BP’s RedR Challenge Team of fifteen walkers, drawn from all over the BP global community and lead by BP’s Chief Engineer. I am looking forward to representing the BP S&OR, Wells and Subsurface communities in our trek up the mountain.

My base challenge is to raise £2000 for RedR - but I hope to raise far more than this with your support! All the contributions you make on this page will go direct to RedR - and my final total will then be doubled by BP. So please give generously! All contributions are welcomed and will encourage me in my training!

I have started training and by June hope my legs to be strong(er), the body less bulky, and the mind willing!

My thanks again for visiting this page and in advance for any contribution you have made!

Andy
