Vision Support is the leading provider of local services to people of all ages living with a vision impairment in Cheshire and North Wales. Our mission is to promote the continuing independence of individuals living with sight loss and to raise awareness of their needs throughout our local communities.

Story

For those that know me, they perhaps know this is now my 7th Marathon.  Just being 63 yrs of age (64 on the day of the 2011 marathon) gives me an incentive to raise money for Vision Support.  I have had perfect eyesight all my life and can't imagine what it must be like not to have this facility, so I want to do what I can for this very worthwhile charity.

Seriously though, it's a hell of a lot easier to just use this web site than it is to run a marathon so I'll be doing it for you as well.  Up to the date I wrote this I have raised ₤638.50 just in cash from friends and colleagues.  Well done everyone but we haven't finished yet.

I shall be organising a Live Music night out in Chester in the New Year but more of that later.  See the photo of one of the HOT MAMAS.
