Many of will you know that I have come late to long distance running and have managed to achieve my goal of a sub 4 hour marathon. London may or may not be my last marathon but it is an iconic event that I am looking forward to and am delighted that Mission to Seafarers have invited me to be part of their team.

As someone working within the maritime insurance sector I have an appreciation of how important Seafaring is to the economy and also the dangers and difficulties that Seafarers face both mentally, physically and often financially in their work.

The Mission to Seafarers is an international maritime charity , established in 1856 and funded by voluntary donations or corporate support and partnerships. The Mission has grown to become one of the largest port-based welfare operators in the world now operating in over 200 ports in 51 countries.

By supporting me you will enable the Mission to continue its valuable work providing essential services to seafarers and their families around the world.

Thank you very much

Andrew
