In September 2013 Robert Smith one of our younger players at only 20 years old, lost his life following a tragic road accident. Rob as he was known to all in the club had become a popular player and had fitted into the first team well. The players and coaching staff thought very highly of Rob`s talents and he had a promising future with the club. 10 months ago Rob played a part in the club`s success in the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff winning the SWALEC Plate . He was a true gentleman. We miss him greatly .

Due to the involvement of The Wales Air Ambulance at the scene of Rob’s traffic accident we have decided to raise money for them in honour of our dear friend , Club member and fellow teammate. We hope to raise an amount worthy of Rob.
