I will be running the 2023 United Airlines NYC Half for Team HRPK! Hudson River Park (HRPK) is the Nation's Longest Riverfront Park. It runs four miles along Manhattan's west side and attracts over 17 million visits each year. The Park provides an oasis for New Yorkers and visitors alike with a variety of recreational and educational activities. The Park is also an urban sustainability innovation, from their community composting efforts to their 400-acre Estuarine Sanctuary that's reviving biodiversity in the Hudson River. I'm proud to be running 13.1 of New York City's most iconic miles in support of this blue and green urban oasis. This Park is a vital urban sanctuary, an public education resource for future environmentalists and scientists, and one of my favorite running destinations.
