This year I am running the world's most famous - and most famously difficult - road ultramarathon, the Comrades. I will (hopefully) be traversing the 90km from Pietermaritzburg to Durban in South Africa on 28 August 2022 with the Africa Marathons team. I am doing this to fulfil a childhood dream (I grew up in Johannesburg watching the race every year) and to raise money for GiveDirectly, a charity which supports people living in extreme poverty through direct transfers.
