In my work as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Southampton Eye Unit I often see patients who are suffering from blinding eye diseases which, at present, have no treatment available. It is devastating for people to know that their sight cannot be saved.

Our Vision Research team at the University of Southampton are working hard to introduce new therapies and treatments and to try to ascertain how we can prevent future generations from suffering with genetic eye disease.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
