Over 100,000 children and young people are living with serious illness or exceptional health needs across the UK. Many spend months, even years in hospital because there is no support enabling them to leave. WellChilds vision is for these children and young people to have the best chance to thrive - at home, with their families.

I have seen their work first hand, volunteering for a number of projects renovating the garden spaces for these children so that they can express themselves, gain new experiences and have the chance to live as normal a life as possible.  It has been very humbling working on these projects and now is the time for me to raise some money for these guys by challenging myself and pushing my limits.

The Three Peaks Challenge is to summit the three highest mountains in the UK: Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, all within 36 hours (travel & walking time combined)!

This challenge is different to the majority of other charities and tour companies as we complete the mountains in reverse order starting in Wales and finishing in Scotland which makes it much more fun! By doing this we will build up to the tallest mountain in the UK – Ben Nevis!
