Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Andy McGee, and as most people may know I was nominated Captain for Castle Hawk Golf Club for 2019.

I wanted to make Rochdale and District Mind my chosen charity because I have first hand experience of seeing a loved one experience mental health issues - this person was lucky to get the help of the charity.  I was invited into Rochdale and District Mind and was able to see for myself the work that the Charity does, and so want to give something back.

Mental health still has a stigma attached to it, so I'd like to help change the way people talk about this in a more open and honest way by way of our social events at Castle Hawk. Your donations will help LOCAL people with mental health issues by providing support groups, wellbeing activities and therapeutic support.  They support young people from aged 12.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
