Story

Over 25 years ago now I lost my Mum to cancer. Just recently, my friend Rab, lost his dad in similar unfortunate circumstances.  When Rab and a group of family and friends decided to participate in a challenge to mark his Dad's passing and raise money for Maggie's, I volunteered to join in with them.

Even though I may have been slightly misguided, as the most I ever cycled before is around 12 miles, I am feeling up for the challenge and looking forward to giving a little back by cycling 50 miles (probably through a torrential rain storm and hurricane) through the night on June 17th.

I have been reminded of the support and care my Mum had received in the later stages of her life, and the wonderful  support, organisations like Maggie's provide, when loved one's and family's need it the most.

Please if you can donate some cash to make my hours in the saddle count, as this will go directly to comfort those in need.

Thanks for your support.
