Hearing words like 'autism', or 'learning difficulty' can be devastating for parents. Seeing someone you care about affected by stroke is devastating. B.I.R.D. offers a therapy programme to achieve their true potential. Your support will help more families seeking our support.

Story

DEBBIE SUFFERED A SEVERE STROKE IN 2012 AT 44 YEARS OLD.

She lost use of her right side and speech.

She lost her job as a top rank Nurse for Pennine  Acute Trust, who she had devoted her skills from 16 ! she climbed the ladder and became a Practice Facilitator for the TRUST

Debbie attended B.I.R.D in 2014 and they are playing a massive part in her recovery!

Debbie is working incredibly hard in her recovery and is able to communicate more with her speech and movement  she now goes to Littleborough Gym 3 times a week.

Last year your support for her was amazing if you can donate for her continued recovery , she would be very grateful !
