Children North East exists because growing up can be hard. We create life-changing differences for babies, children and young people in their families, schools and communities. We offer support at those times when a little help can make a big difference for a child and its future.

Story

I am running a 100mile ultra marathon from Winchester to Eastbourne with over 12000ft of ascent in 30hrs for Children North East. This charity supports children whose lives are disadvantaged because of family misfortune i.e. children who are caring for mentally or physically ill parents etc

I have ran the Paris marathon in April and am running the Leaden Boot Challenge in the Peak District in May which is one of the toughest marathons in the UK with over 5000ft of ascent.

So see this 100mile run as collective sponsorship for those events, I promise I won’t badger anyone for anymore sponsorship money for at least a year ;)

Please help me raise as much money as I can for this commendable charity caring for children in my surrounding area who have been given a tough start to their life
