Story
You are not imagining this, Yes I am planning to cycle from London To Brighton on fathers day this year. This is a 54 mile ride so is going to be a huge challenge.
A few years ago I became involved with Keepthebeat and got to know the people behind it. I am good friends with the founders Adam & Annita Tansey, and have seen the Journey that 9 year old Albert Tansey has been on through - being born with half a heart, having life saving open heart surgeries and eventually a heart transplant in 2014.
Keepthebeat help families that go through similar journeys, 1 in 100 children are born with a congenital heart defect and often they face many surgeries, a lifetime of medication and monitoring, and for some sadly their life is limited by their condition.
I decided that I would do something personally this year to raise money for this great charity - and I'm sure you will appreciate how hard this is going to be for me, but its one day of suffering to hopefully help many others.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
If you could sponsor me to take on this challenge I can personally assure you the money raised will help enormously
