Hi everyone! Thank you if you are even reading this page. 

In 2021 I am endeavouring to run 1,000 miles and raise at least £1,000 for a very worthwhile local charity called Shooting Stars Children's Hospice.  

Shooting Stars is an incredible organisation that cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and provides support for their families. They support from initial diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care. Their bespoke support is free of charge to families and includes a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family, specialist nursing care and respite, symptom management, end-of-life care and bereavement support. The charity gets some sponsorship from government  but relies on the generosity of supporters for most of its funding.

So to keep their services running I am going to get running! 1,000 miles in 2021 to be exact - which is a very long way as I'm starting to realise!
