Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Although there has been a focus over the last few years to provide more provisions to protect the health and wellbeing of our local community, more still needs to be done. Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind are already working hard to achieve this purpose by providing many services to individuals, communities and in workplaces and are continuously developing new services to meet increasing need across the area. They offer counselling, drop-ins, courses, prevention, resilience training and more to individuals, groups and in the community and also provide workplace mental health training. Additionally, they’re dedicated Youth in Mind team provide services for children and young people aged between 8 and 18! They are our local mental health charity and rely on the community’s support to run many of their much-needed services.

This charity is very close to my heart after losing a very close friend in 2013, and family who have also used there services Mind can really make a difference to someone who feels that they have no one to talk to about their struggles. i would like to thank Greenfield Greyhounds and Anytime Fitness Ashton under Lyne for helping me train and supporting me in my quest in running the London Marathon. Thank You for taking the time to read my story.
