This year I will be running the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in honour of my best friend Robert Davidson. This is my fourth attempt at running a marathon having had two previous attempts ruined by Covid, and one by an admin issue. 

Before we lost Robert to Motor Neurons Disease in December 2016 he set up an amazing charity with the aim of helping young families facing financial difficulties whilst dealing with life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Rob and I planned on running the London marathon together. It was a bucket list item for us both. Now I will be running the Leeds Marathon with him in mind whilst also trying to raise as much as possible for his charity.
