Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I am raising money to combat a terrible brain disease called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), which has had a profound impact on my family. PSP is a rare degenerative brain disorder that causes problems with movement, balance, and eye movement, and is commonly misdiagnosed as Parkinson's disease. The exact causes are unknown, and there is no known cure.

I am running the Toughman Triathlon on September 24th, and appreciate your contribution.

For more background on PSP, check out this link. The disorder’s long name indicates that the disease worsens (progressive) and causes weakness (palsy) by damaging certain parts of the brain above nerve cell clusters called nuclei (supranuclear) that control eye movements.

Thank you for your support!
