In the Spring of 2011 my life took a dramatic change of direction. Following a seizure it was discovered that I had a Brain Tumour the size of a tennis ball. Following an operation the tumour was found to be an aggressive cancer. We were shocked to discover that very little is known about Brain tumours / cancers. In fact ONLY 0.7% ofnational cancer funding goes to Brain Tumour research, even though brain cancer kills more children and more people under 40 than any other form of cancer.
