Brain Tumour Research

We fund long-term, sustainable research to find a cure for brain tumours

Charity Registration No. England and Wales 1153487, Scotland SC046840

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2011 I was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. Each year since, on my birthday, I have set myself a motivational challenge to celebrate reaching another year and to raise money and awareness for Brain Tumour Research
For 2018 I am attempting to cycle 400 KM from Weston Super Mare Pier (SW coast) to a Walton on the Naze Pier (East coast). We plan to leave Weston on the evening of 14th June cycling through the night to arrive the following evening on the Essex coast. Yes it is a big step up from last years challenge -the BathBike 80 mile cycle and the RideLondon 100 mile cycle.

Despite brain tumours killing more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer it only receives 0.7% of national cancer funding.
