Unfortunately, in December 2012, we lost my Grandfather Peter Stavert, aged 78. Alzheimer's was a contributory factor to this.

There is nothing worse or more frustrating than seeing a loved one struggle with an illness such as this, unable to remember those little things that we take for granted & struggling to function normally, from day to day.

My Grandad loved to be out in the fresh air, walking with pals across the fells. So in remembrance to him & to support this fantastic charity which does such great work, myself, my Dad Ian and 4 others (so far!!), will in June 2013, be taking on the almighty challenge of the Coast to Coast Mountain Bike route:
