Representing Murphy Young Projects over the course of the weekend commencing 23rd May 2020, I will be cycling one of Scotland's Great Trails to raise money for the Murphy Young Foundation. 

The iconic John Muir Way offers a unique journey through Scotland’s landscapes, history and heritage. It traverses central Scotland coast to coast over 130 miles linking Helensburgh in the West with Dunbar in the East (birthplace of America's 'father of national parks' John Muir). 

Murphy Young Projects is part of the MY Group of companies and supports the Murphy Young Foundation. The Foundation offers support and funding for people and social enterprise groups within the geographic work regions of the Murphy Young Group of companies. 

The beneficiaries of the fund raising include social enterprises where all funds are used entirely for public good and where their activities are for the support and benefit of:

• The elderly
• Groups who are disadvantaged physically by learning difficulty or social issues
• Individuals who are similarly disadvantaged or have serious health conditions 

All funds that are raised by the Foundation are given directly to a supported group or individual. In addition, the Murphy Young Group tops up all funds raised as well as meeting all costs for administrating the charity.
