As many of you already know I am attempting to run 3 marathons before Christmas - Berlin (25th September), Chicago (9th October) and New York (6th November).......after struggling to run my first 2 London marathons in October 20 and 21...this is going to be quite some challenge for me!!!

I am very proud to be running for another amazing charity this year - Bookmark.

About 200,000 children leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. These children struggle for the rest of their education and beyond, which has a devastating impact on their life chances. This must change and at Bookmark, they want to make the biggest difference they can, for as many children as possible. They are a new charity with a mission to mobilise a community of volunteers to provide dedicated reading support to children who need it most.

From as little as £10, you could gift a child with a Bookmark reading session:
£10 - Gift a child with a one-to-one Bookmark reading session
£25 - Give a Bookmark magazine to 50 children to inspire reading at home
£120 - Gift a child with a six week 1:1 Bookmark reading programme
£250 Inspire a childs love of reading with a new Bookmark volunteer
