<p>On 2nd April 2012 Joy Davis lost her fight against Ovarian Cancer.</p> <p>Joy was a dedicated member of Kingston Kayak Club, Hull for many years.</p> <p>Joy encouraged thousands of people, both children and adults, including ourselves, to try kayaking.</p> <p>She was involved in organising many activities, which included canoe polo, slalom, marathon and the summer school.</p> <p>On 30th June/ 1st July, we have set ourselves the challenge to complete the "Cheshire Ring Race", this is 96 miles with 92 locks and 3 tunnels, in a K2 Racing Kayak. &nbsp;We are raising funds for Target Ovarian Cancer UK and Dove House Hospice.&nbsp;</p> <p>Donations for Target Ovarian Cancer UK can be made on this page, we have set up another page for Dove House Hospice - (www.justgiving.com/stuart--andrew). &nbsp;You can split the donation or choose your preferred charity.</p> <p>Your support will be appreciated</p> <p>Andy &amp; Stu</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
