Taking on 'Los Tres Picos', three of Spain's highest peaks, in aid of the EY Foundation - helping disadvantaged young people to make a successful transition into education, employment or enterprise.

Story

In early June, 50 of us will be taking part in the 'Los Tres Picos' challenge for the EY Foundation in the Sierra Nevada that involves climbing Spain's three highest peaks, all around 3,500m in 3 days.

EYF is for some 1m disadvantaged young 16-25 year olds in the UK to-day who are not in either education, employment or training. I was lucky to have the opportunities I had at the beginning of my career, so its great to be able to give something back and help those less fortunate to realise their potential and have a better start to their working lives.

For a 'mature' guy with dodgy knees like mine, completing this trek will likely prove a tad challenging to say the least given the rocky terrain and steep ascents, with some summer heat and high altitudes thrown in for good measure.

So please give generously , we are all covering our own costs, so all donations go to a great cause.
