Women’s Aid is a charity that provides support for domestic abuse victims and their children who may have nowhere else to go, especially when the abuser is the breadwinner of the family. When we think of domestic abuse we often only think of physical abuse. Psychological, emotional, sexual, financial and economic abuse can all be just as damaging to someone’s physical and mental health without leaving any visible scars.
