A team of Marshalls employees are taking on the Lands End to John O'Groats cycle challenge this September, riding 1009 miles with the aim to raise £20,000 for Macmillan.

Story

On Friday 3 September 2021, a small team of cyclists from Marshalls plc will be taking on the iconic Lands End to John O'Groats ride. Covering almost 1,000 miles in total across nine days, our cycling super-heroes Andrew Tyerman, Stephen Cole, Brian Tate, Simon Bugeja and Mark Sutherland will be giving their all to raise much-needed funds for Macmillan. Travelling through 23 counties in England, Wales and Scotland, and clocking up an average of 110 miles every day, this ride really isn't for the faint-hearted. Our dedicated cyclists will be training throughout the summer to be ready for their grueling journey. They're aiming to raise £20,000 for Macmillan, which would help fund over 700 hours of vital nursing care from a Macmillan nurse. Please support their ambitious challenge and help us to reach the £20,000 target by donating today. Macmillan Cancer Support is here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support.
