Story

The past year has been tough for everyone, but coronavirus has hit people affected by dementia the hardest. So that's why I'm taking on Swim for Dementia and raising vital funds. Please donate as much or as little as you can to support me and ensure Alzheimer's Society can be there for the people who need them most.

I'm dedicating this challenge to the memory of George Murphy who sadly passed away on October 21st 2020 at the age of 94. He had lived with Dementia for many years. His daughter Janice White has very kindly allowed me to dedicate this challenge in his name.

I will be Swimming 50 Miles for this challenge. Starting on September 1st  - September 30th 2021

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
