Sadly, almost all of us have now been affected by Cancer.

This year, Gail Murray, my best friend's mum, and my friend of over 20 years, lost her short battle with cancer at just 59.

In memory of Gail and in aid of Cancer Research UK, I am taking part in a challenge worthy of such a great lady.

Starting on 17th May 2013, along with Gail's 3 sons, Luke, Alex, and Reuben, we are attempting to cycle from John O’Groats to Lands End (that's 1000 miles) in 6 days.

Our hope is to raise as much money as humanly possible, for a cause that has the power to affect so many people's lives. And every penny we raise here, goes straight to Cancer Research UK, and not on extra-padded Lycra shorts, Lucozade or puncture repair kits!
