This May, I’m walking 100 miles to help provide cataract operations for people who might otherwise struggle to access them in countries across Africa and Asia. My goal is to raise £165, which could fund five cataract operations and help transform lives through the gift of sight.
Cataract surgery was transformational for Angeshita from Malawi in 2022, when sight loss in both her eyes had left her dependent on her daughter and grandchildren. After her operation, she said: “I didn’t like dancing before, but that day I danced. Now that I can see, I can walk and I can find some paid work, fetch water and wash for myself.”
Please donate and support my challenge – your gift could help restore sight and change someone’s future.
