Myself and my girlfriend are taking on the Great North Run 2019 to support families facing dementia across the UK. Dementia UK provide specialist dementia nurses who provide dementia care to families in need, enabling them to live more positively with dementia. 

My grandmother sadly got diagnosed with Dementia about two years ago and spent the last few years in a home getting progressively worse. It really is horrible to see someone suffer with the illness as it’s like watching them turn into a completely different person. 

We both want to raise awareness for this terrible ilness and by running the 2019 Great North Run we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for this great cause! 

Any donations no matter how big or small would be much appreciated and will go a long way in helping us reach and hopefully surpass our target!
