Right then, so we've decided to do the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride on the 8th July 2012, riding for cancer research, but with a slight twist.

Whilst discussing the logistics of travelling to Manchester and ultimately getting back from Blackpool, we thought it would be a good idea to just bike the lot!

A total distance of around 120 miles! To do it in 10 hours will need an average speed of 12 mph, not including toilet breaks. It's going to be a tough ask and will need an early start. Setting off from the Reebok Stadium around 6 am. We hope to be home in time for tea and medals.

Any sponsorship will be greatly received and will help spur us on, both on the day and during our training.
