Would I walk 500 miles? Probs not. Would I walk 500 more? Nah mate.

But I do believe the children are our future.  And I'm not one of them any longer.  In fact, I turned 40 on 27th July.

So, I thought instead that I would walk 64 miles along the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals from Glasgow to Edinburgh* (accompanied by Amstel - the man, not the beer) to raise some money for Barnardo's, who do amazing work to support children across the UK.

* Glasgow to Falkirk on Sunday 23rd July

* Falkirk to Edinburgh on Monday 24th July
