Paris Marathon 2013 · 7 April 2013 ·

The Springboard Project welcomes children and young people with or without disabilities and their families for inclusive play and social opportunities.

Story

I'm running the Paris Marathon on Sunday 7th April.

After 4 weeks of early morning training runs in snow, ice, rain and mud I'm looking forward to heading off down the Champs-Élysées for the 26.2 mile course around the centre of Paris. Hopefully without the snow and mud.

I'm raising money for The Springboard Project which provides safe, accessible, inclusive play and recreation facilities for disabled children in Sussex and Surrey. They run an activity centre in Horsham, organise events and provide life skills support for young people. This is an inspiring organisation that does fantastic work in the community. But they can only continue their work through the support of people like you and me. Please help me help them raise £5000.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Three hours of running round Paris is a lot more bearable when you know it's going to make a difference to Springboard and the children they support. But ultimately it's the three minutes of your time to make a donation that really counts.

Thank you for your support.

Andrew.
