Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

Andrew is a regular guy with a young family. In addition to two fast-growing-up teenagers, Andrew has two wonderful young children with his wife Helen, two mischievous dogs and two ducks (or is that two mischievous young children and two wonderful dogs?!). Andrew lives in Blairgowrie, Perthshire and is a train driver with Scotrail.

During lockdown Andrew wasn’t feeling too well. It turned out that he has a rare form of blood cancer called Myeloma. It is incurable. Many months of gruelling chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant later (delivered with the amazing support of NHS Scotland), Andrew is OK right now and keeps himself super fit and active.

Andrew is now on a mission to help others with his condition, and we need your help!
