DELTA Bike Ride 2010 · 9 May 2010 ·

DELTA believes that the vast majority of deaf children can learn to listen and talk and that all parents of deaf children should be given this option. It's aim is to promote the education of hearing impaired children through their residual hearing capacity and naturally spoken language.

Story

WE DID IT!!

Every member of the 'Andrew's Angels' team completed the London to Brighton bike ride on Sunday 9th May in memory of Andrew Broughton, a passionate supporter of DELTA, who personnally made a great difference to the lives of young deaf people across the UK and internationally.

DELTA - Deaf Education through Listening and Talking is a charity who offer support and guidance to deaf children and their families throughout the UK. The charity helps to give children who have a hearing impairement the best possible access to the world by showing them what they are capable of and allowing them to communicate with everyone around them and ultimately to live an independent life. They advocate the natural aural approach so that young deaf people are able to listen and talk.

Please support us as none-cyclists, make our sore bums worth it!! It really is our pain - their gain!!

Thank you very much in advance!

Love Sue, Ruth, Aimee, Hannah, Lucy, Emily, Simon, Dex and Paul xxx
