In October 2022, a team from across the world are gathering in Patagonia for a demanding 7-day trip as part of a tough but epic adventure on behalf of victims and survivors of human trafficking.

Story

This October I have the privilege of being part of the Hope for Justice Extreme Challenge team raising funds to help the 40.3 million people trapped in slavery – more people at any time in history. The funds will help rescue victims and restore lives as well as preventing trafficking happening in the first place

As part of the Patagonia Trek Challenge,

• We will be trekking for 7 days consecutively for very long
distances and fighting the winds and bad weather conditions of the Patagonian Mountains.

• We will be trekking at altitudes of up to almost 1,200m

• It will be very windy and cold especially at nights

• We will be sleeping in locations with very basic
facilities

• We will be descending and ascending to the Viedma glacier
using crampons

This is going to be tough, its going to take all that we’ve
got and more but as a team we are committed to completing this as we want to live in a world free from slavery.
