Raising money for Willen Hospice by running The London Marathon

London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
I've been running for 6 years and thought it about time I attempt my first full marathon. I will be using this as an opportunity to fundraise for Willen Hospice. I'm so proud that my Grandparents Leslie & Dorothy Jell helped to create the hospice. The Hospice means so much to me and my family. They do incredible work, putting patients and families at the heart of everything that they do. Their staff and volunteers give constant care in a considerate, peaceful environment where patients coming to the end of their lives and their loved ones can really make the most of the their time left together.
They rely on donations to provide their incredible care to so many. Below is a little info from Willen, I would be grateful for any money you're able to donate. Thank you.
Willen Hospice’s care touches thousands of local people every year. We give comfort, ease pain and reduce anxiety for patients and their loved ones. Every pound given makes a difference - as it enables us to do more for more people across Milton Keynes when and where they need us. We receive less than a quarter of our funding from the NHS, which means the rest is donated or fundraised for by amazing local people. Which is why your support is so important and so appreciated – from everyone we help, thank you.
