Story

Andy has been smashing disability perceptions since he received a life changing spinal cord injury over 12 years ago. He loves to exercise, explore the natural world in both England and France and work with local community groups.

The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), enables people to live a full and happy life post-injury. Andy and his family have received support and help in managing life with a spinal injury- the ups, downs and challenges. The SIA encourages Andy to be active, able and independent, as they do for many other people. They bring comfort to families going through the shock and trauma of spinal injury and paralysis, they work in rehabilitation, education and enable independence.

It’s time we gave something back.

On the 22nd of November, Andy will be wheeling 4 miles around his village- not only that- he is going to do one of the miles backwards! A venture never before attempted!

This won’t be easy.

Please consider giving something back to this incredible charity by sponsoring Andy’s venture. Every penny helps fund their vital work and ensures more positive futures for those impacted by spinal injury.
