Cricket v Covid-19 · 19 April 2020

NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.

Over lockdown I invited cricket stars and coaches to keep cricketers I’m  involved actively thinking about their game.

Over the weeks the players were lucky enough to listen to stars careers and thoughts on the skills of the game which will in turn enhance the players performance moving forward.

All the stars gave  their time readily and it's been a pleasure to see young cricketers gaining an insight in how to become the best, listening to greats such as Michael Holding, Chris Rogers, Jonathan Trott, Wayne Madsen, Kevin Dean, Robin Petersen, Greg Smith, Gary Park and Jamie Pipe.

As we are hopefully close to starting playing again I’d like to reach my target of £1000 .....

Please donate, all donations welcome, through cricket lets help beat Covid-19.

Together, let's show our respect and gratitude as they work tirelessly in the face of the virus. It's our turn to make sure we look after them, to ensure they can keep doing their vital work.
