Journey through a spectacular area of wild moorland, tumbling waterfalls and sweeping mountain slopes in the Brecon Beacons. Trek for loved ones, and raise money so together we can find a cure.

I am looking forward to trekking again in the hills and valleys of the Brecon Beacons after many months of having to stay away during lockdown. 

When I saw this fundraising event in aid of the Alzheimer's Society I thought it would be great way to get fit again and to remember our Mum who died of dementia last May (2020). 

If there is one lesson that being in lockdown has taught me it is that we need to value more our friends and families, and our connection to nature.
