Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On July 14th I am taking part in a 60 mile charity bike ride from Manchester to Blackpool. I want to raise funds for my friend Matthew Boulton who died from a Malignant Melanoma when he was 24. I feel honoured to be able to say Matthew was my friend and housemate through University and is now dearly missed and often in my thoughts.

As a keen cyclist I am now taking my chance to raise some money for a good cause. Matt initiated Matt's fund to help fund research into Melignant Melanoma at Nottingham University Hospitals and all donations made will go towards this cause.

You can see details of the ride and route here: http://www.bike-events.com/Ride.aspx?id=366 To make things harder for myself I am doing this ride on my "Fixed gear" bike which basically means there is only 1 gear and no option to "Coast"!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
