Story

As part of a wider fundraising effort, I have decided to run a treadmill half marathon on Saturday 1 September 2018.

The run will take place in the entrance foyer at Harrogate District Hospital.

It will start at 1300 hrs (1pm) and will take around two hours.

I am doing this as a stand alone event but will add the total to the overall money raised for Doctors Without Borders which currently stands at just over £85,000.

(See www.andy4msf.com).

For anyone who does not know me, I am a nurse in Harrogate Hospitals Endoscopy Department, I also work with Doctors Without Borders . I have completed 4 missions with them in Uganda , twice in South Sudan and in Sierra Leone during the 2013-15 Ebola outbreak.

Doctors Without Borders or Médecins Sans Frontières is a major part of my life and I dedicate my free time to their work.

Please support this challenge if you are able.

Thank you ,

Andy
