As some of you will know I became ill in late 2013 which resulted in me losing a kidney in June 2014. However, this was a life changing event for me and resulted in some major lifestyle choices most notably giving up the booze. I have now been tea-total for over five years. So you can't buy me a pint for my birthday. 

So instead I wanted to see how much I could raise by asking people to donate just £2. I wanted 40p but Just Giving doesn't allow it :(

If everyone donates it will add up to a decent amount for a cause that I have a real empathy with. Please feel free to give a few quid more if you so wish :)

There are lots of great charities out there who do invaluable work but after experiencing the acute pain and suffering that kidney problems can cause I know important the work of Kidney Research UK is, and for this reason I'd like to give a little back.
