I'm running to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, as part of the Three Bears Foundation team. This was set up by Chris (a former pupil at my school) and 8 of his crazy friends (most of them also former pupils) in memory of Chris' mum, Jane, who died of the disease in December.

None of them are runners but they're all training hard (well, training!) to run the New York City marathon with the aim of raising £50,000.

So please give generously, to both encourage them as they build up the miles but also to raise money for a fantastic charity.
