I am fund raising for Barnardo’s. Whilst my amazing employer looks after me during furlough I thought, “how can I give back, I have two young children and my wife and I are pretty busy looking after them, day in day out.”

Well the story started when Harvey (my eldest boy, 4) wanted to grow some seeds, I had some old pots, seeds and compost and went about starting. It was a good activity to keep him interested, learning about watering them, planting them at the right depth and general care. We had lots of free time so was an excellent time filler.

After training hard for the Brighton Marathon on behalf of Barnado’s which was due to happen on 19th April I had a thought, how can I support my chosen charity still. Sell some of my plants. So off I went.
