Andy's Flying to Spain in aid of Help for Heroes

Flying to Spain in aid of Help for Heroes · 18 August 2019
In August of this year, I, along with good friend and fellow ex-RAF member Andy Roberts, will be flying my small aircraft from near Port Talbot, South Wales to the South of Spain near Malaga. The trip will see us make our way along the south of England and crossing the channel at Dover to reach Calais. We will work our way down the western side of France to reach the Normandy region. As it is the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings this year (which my own grandfather took part in), We will be making some flights over the landing beaches in his honour and his memory and also to commemorate the anniversary. We will then continue south and cross over the Spanish/French border near Perpignan and follow the coastline down eastern Spain. As the whole trip is quite a feat in the small aircraft, we wanted to maybe try and raise some funds for our modern day military heroes at the same time.
It would be fantastic if you could donate any amount you see fit to this very worth while cause and continue to support and Help our Heroes.
We will be posting regular updates and photos prior to the trip in August, including a flight to the Isle of Wight from South Wales in June.
Thanks....Andy Hodder & Andy Roberts
