The Children's Department at Ipswich Hospital was built in the 1960's and has not seen any major update since the 1980's more than 30 years later is  run down and tired and the NHS as an organisation has moved on. Its in deperate need of an update. The hospital already provides amazing care for its patient's but now it really needs to bring the facilities up to modern standards.

The Children's Appeal wants to raise £2.5m to develop a more family friendly environment with more clinic space, en-suite rooms and high dependency beds for the most sickest of children.

The hospital desperately needs these new facilities to create a comfortable and homely environment to help comfort and reassure children who are frightened, unwell and away from home. Any money you could give would make the world of difference and improve outcomes for children from babies to teenagers.
