I am running the London Marathon 2021 in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation. I had Meningitis as a child and was fortunate enough to come through it without any issues, whereas so many others around the world aren't as fortunate. With all the money raised I want to help the Charity achieve their goal of defeating meningitis and septicaemia wherever they exist.

I'm also running this in memory of my mum who sadly passed away 4 years ago and who was so strong and didn't stop doing what she loved through her illness, that if she can do that I can can surely complete a marathon and make her proud.
