I plan to walk the west highland way in May and would like to raise money for a local highland based charity which focuses on helping people struggling with there mental health. They offer invaluable support and kindness when people are at there lowest. This is a charity which is very close to my heart as my family have tragically suffered the loss of both my uncle and my cousin to suicide. I hope by doing this walk for Ewen’s Room it will raise awareness of the charity and highlight how important mental health support groups are and hopefully it will also encourage people to seek help when needed.
