Five brave men will hike 52km from Dublin Castle into the Wicklow Mountains at midnight in the middle of January to raise money for a mobile health van in rural India

Story

Hi!

I'm hiking the Art O'Neill Challenge on January 14th 2017 to raise funds for TLM. All event costs are covered by myself, all funds raised go to TLM.

The plan is to raise enough to fund a mobile health van in rural India, which will fit and supply specialist shoes for people with leprosy. Leprosy destroys sensory nerve tissue, so adequate and specialised footwear is essential for people suffering from this disease. With stigma, social exclusion, and huge distances to contend with, this mobile health van will go a long way to help people access the healthcare they need. Leprosy is totally curable! But it still continues to affect many lives, particularly in less economically developed nations.

Please donate what you can. Thank you!
